Rev. E. L. Harris
E.L. Harris joined the SHBC team in November 2010. In 1996, he was ordained as a minister in Vernon, Texas where he served as Youth Minister. He has also served for 14 years, as pastor in both Quanah and Lubbock. E.L. and his wife, Karen have been married since 1997. They have two children – Shemica and Jordan.
E.L.’s passion for Mission & Ministry is rooted in Matthew 6:10. His personal vision is to see SHBC become a true reflection of heaven on earth through fellowship, discipleship and worship.
Michael Corbin
Michael has been a member since 1996, and leading worship services at Shadow Hills since 2005. Michael and his wife, Leigh, have two sons, Zachary and Andrew. He began playing guitar at age nine (MANY years ago) and played stringed bass in the Coronado High School orchestra. His favorite Christian artists are Mercy Me, Chris Tomlin, Todd Agnew, and Third Day. His favorite guitarist is Eric Clapton.
Dean Daniel
Dean Daniel became the youth minister at Shadow Hills Baptist Church in March 2011. He responded to a call to ministry in 2007, and has served in various youth and adult related ministries both in Lubbock and in overseas mission fields. Dean graduated in June of 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion, and is continuing his education by pursuing a Master of Divinity degree through Logsdon Seminary as well as a Master of Arts in Religion through Wayland Baptist University. Dean and his wife, Brandy, were married in 1995 and have two teenage children: Danny and Philip. He loves working with computers, reading, and playing guitar. Dean’s vision is to disciple students, preparing them for the good works “which God prepared in advance for us to do.” He has a special heart for students, and enjoys helping them to grow in Christ and challenging them to share their faith with others.
