Dr. Randy Rogers became the pastor of Shadow Hills Baptist Church in January 2005. He has been in the ministry since 1988 serving churches in Fort Worth and Cleburne, Texas as pastor. His education includes a B.A.(Bible/History) in 1990, and MA (Religion) in 1995 from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas; and a MDivBL in 1995 and Ph.D. (New Testament) in 2002 from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Randy and his wife, Leeta, have been married for 15 years. They are the parents of four children: Hannah 11, Richard 9, Caleb 6, and Matthew 1.
Randy is currently active in the community as an adjunct professor at Wayland Baptist University. He also is a member of the Administrative Team for the Lubbock Area Baptist Association.
Randy's pastoral vision is to “lead the members of the Shadow Hills Baptist Church to put Christ first in worship and discipleship, to know Christ through teaching and preaching the Gospel message, and to make Christ known through intentional community outreach and mission projects.”
